We’re excited you want to learn more about GP81 YTC, NYC’s first and only dedicated youth climbing and training facility, opening Fall 2025 in Bushwick, Brooklyn.

While we’re still hard at work in creating this awesome space, we did want to take a sec to share a few details about what’s coming.

First and foremost, the GP81 YTC is born out of a desire to serve the next generation of climbers. Our coaches come to us with a diverse set of skills and specialties, unparalleled in their experience, commitment, and dedication. We’re also supported by owners who share our mission to serve the community, positioning our program to be a bastion for youth climbing.

With a foundation of shared values, our goal is to curate a space for young climbers to learn, explore, discover and thrive. By offering a dedicated space and routesetting that caters directly to the unique interests and demands of today's competitive youth climbers, we can both challenge and support our athletes.

The GP81 YTC will be a space where young climbers feel safe and supported to try hard and fail hard, as we believe failure is the gateway to future success. With culture as our compass and performance as our pursuit, we are confident that the GP81 YTC is the ideal environment for any young climber fueled by passion and curiosity.

For our inaugural season, we’ll be offering three programs, separated into tiers. Here’s a quick overview:

Development

10-month season
1.5-hour session, 1x a week
Minimum Age: 8

Comp 1 Team

11-month season, September - July
2.5-hour sessions, 2x a week
Minimum Age: 9

Comp 2 Team

11-month season, September - July
3-hour sessions, 3x a week
Minimum Age: 11
