Bringing together national-level coaching and NYC’s most beloved climbing brand, the GP81 YTC is the place to be.

OVERVIEW

  • Our development program is designed for young climbers who are newer to climbing and interested in competition climbing down the road. Programming will be focused on skill acquisition, problem solving, and fostering a deep love of diverse movement styles. Our coach to athlete ratios will support individualized attention in addition to cultivating strong team cohesion. All participants will learn relevant mental performance skills such as emotional regulation and goal setting.

  • Our competitive team levels are stratified based on time commitment and physical + emotional development. Climbers in our Comp Team 1 program will train twice per week and will receive standardized programming tailored to performance and growth objectives. Coach to athlete ratios will support individualized attention as well as cultivating strong team cohesion. At this level, athletes will be building on a foundation of technical skills in order to develop tactical competitive prowess. All participants will learn relevant mental skills such as routine management, emotional regulation and how to appropriately direct attentional focus.

Development

Minimum Age: 8
10-month season billed monthly

$300/mo

  • 1.5-hour session, 1x per week
    Practices: Wednesday and/or Friday

  • Standardized programming

  • Training center access outside of coaching (hours TBD)

  • Extra access at an additional cost

COMP 1 TEAM

Minimum Age: 9
11-month season billed monthly
September - July

$450/mo

  • 2.5-hour sessions, 2x per week
    Practices: Choose 2 days out of: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays

  • Standardized programming

  • Competition Support

  • Training center access outside of coaching (hours TBD)

  • GP81 access details TBD for those meeting the age requirement

comp 2 team

Minimum Age: 11
11-month season billed monthly
September - July

$600/mo

  • 3-hour sessions, 3x a week
    Practices: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday

  • Personalized programming addressing the technical, tactical, mental and physical facets of performance

  • Competition Support

  • Video analysis sessions

  • 1:1 check ins with assigned lead coach

  • Training center access outside of coaching (hours TBD)

  • GP81 access details TBD for those meeting the age requirement
